Happy Monday, everyone! I hope all you Mommas out there had a wonderful Mother's Day! We really had no plans over the weekend, but ended up being very busy. It was supposed to be a total washout with tropical storm Ana, but Saturday ended up being beautiful. Fiona and I spent most of the day hanging in the back yard, while Scott built a new gate for our deck. The previous one was crushed by a fallen limb during an ice storm this past winter.
Later in the afternoon we went to a pool party one of the fire recruits threw.
It was actually very cute, after the boys played volleyball, they couldn't stay away from Fiona.
Sunday, Fiona and I woke up to Daddy bringing home some of our favorite NY bagels and flowers. After that, we did a little painting for the grandma's, went to lunch, and spent some more time in the back yard.
Fiona loves to be chased. 😉
Here is one of the finished art pieces that Fiona did. Needless to say, I'm just a little in love with it!
All in all it was a great weekend!
